It also extends needed protection to planetary gears. One 24 oz. bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix can be added to existing fluid without draining. A second bottle may be necessary in large or badly worn transmissions. In smaller transmissions (compact or sub-compact vehicles), use 12 oz. Lucas Transmission Fix is also excellent for light duty manual transmissions using automatic transmission fluid or motor oil as a lubricant. For easier shifting and extended transmission life drain transmission, install one 24-ounce bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix and top off with A.T.F. or motor oil.
